In Chapter IV, we show you how to create a standout CV that grabs attention. Use battle-tested templates designed specifically for the schools you’re applying to, streamlining the process.
You’ll apply with the CV their career center teaches to their students — the exact format they look for. With these tools and strategies, you’ll craft a CV that passes the screening phase. Every time.
A good recommendation letter is the mirror of your personal statement. It’s the only part of your application where someone else speaks on your behalf, so use it wisely. The recommendation letter's role is to compensate for your weaknesses and highlight your strengths in a way you can’t do yourself.
In this chapter, you will have access to the recommendation forms used by the top 10 business schools. This access will include detailed guidance on each question and how to help your recommenders answer them effectively.
In Chapter VI we emphasize the personal statement as the Spine of your business school application, tying everything together. We provide guidance on crafting a compelling narrative that answers "Why you?", "Why now?", and "Why not someone else?". This includes a strong introduction, detailed body (personal background, career goals, program fit), and a powerful conclusion. You'll learn techniques we use with the agency for creating an engaging hook and effectively describing your background.

After an intense 2 years in an elite French preparatory class, Thomas decided to broaden his horizons by studying at the University of Warwick, UK. He ultimately chose to launch his career in London by pursuing a Master in Management at London Business School.
Recognizing the value of his experiences, Thomas co-founded MIM Prep in 2022 to help others navigate the master's application process. Today, MIM Prep boasts 35 collaborators across three sectors: Bachelor, Master, and Banking. The ambition is to build the most elite and results-oriented preparation agency in the world.
Lucas was raised in an international background having studied in a bilingual school in Paris (Ecole Jeanine Manuel) where he obtained his international baccalaureate magna cum laude (17.26/20 average, with 20/20 in Mathematics, English, and Chinese), before deciding to pursue his passion for economics and finance in a specialized preparatory class (ENS Cachan D2). He then went on to pursue a highly selective specialized degree in finance at Panthéon-Assas University (Magistère Banque-Finance), before joining ESSEC Business Schools’ Master in Management. After stints in Private Equity at Mahogany Capital (Search Fund, acquisition of Flying Eye) and Infrastructure Private Debt at BNP Paribas, he is now passionate about helping students & building an industry redefining education platform.

The GMAT Focus score is significant below the 570-600 threshold; however, we estimate that above 600, the overall weight is around 25% of the application file. To illustrate, we have managed to send applicants with a 550 to LBS, 570 to INSEAD, and 610 to HEC.
