School Admission Specificities

2 intakes instead of 1

IE business school is one of the only European business school to offer two intake for its early career programs. In September & January. An element to take into consideration strategically when planing the overall timeline of your master application.

The ieGat

Developed by IE University, the IE Global Admissions test (ieGAT) assesses a student’s decision-making capabilities in a high pressure environment. It tests for verbal and numerical comprehension abilities as well as logical and abstract reasoning skills.

The total duration of the test varies from 1,5 to 2 h (Including instructions and practice). 

The ieGAT may only be taken once. 

Recommendation form

A short online questionnaire is emailed to the recommender as part of the IE Business School endorsement. Written letters of support are also acceptable. However, there must be two recommendations, and they cannot be from friends or family. If the candidate already has a letter of reference, it can be uploaded as a Word or PDF document with the application.

The following are the IE Business School recommendation questions:

Question 1: How would you describe the applicant in three words?

Question 2: What about the candidate sticks out from a professional standpoint? (500 characters maximum)

Question 3: How would the candidate benefit from the programme, in your opinion? (500 characters maximum)
